Be Part of a Shanghai Brand Film | Complimentary 2-Hour City Host Experience

Updated 5 October 2026: This call now offers a complimentary two-hour City Host experience in exchange for appearing on camera, rather than the previously advertised cash-paid casting. Discover Shanghai with a local — and help us tell the story. Beyond Arrival connects international visitors with carefully selected local City Hosts for a more personal connection to Shanghai. We’re inviting international residents in Shanghai to take part in a relaxed lifestyle photo and video shoot while enjoying a complimentary two-hour City Host experience. WHAT TO EXPECT Explore a Shanghai neighborhood alongside a local Host, share conversations and experience the city together. We’ll capture natural moments of walking, discovering and connecting for Beyond Arrival’s brand content. No professional acting or modeling experience is needed. THE EXCHANGE Selected participants receive a complimentary two-hour city companionship experience in exchange for appearing in the shoot. This is an experience exchange, not a cash-paid casting. Filming will take place during the experience; the meeting point, schedule and any incidental expenses will be agreed in advance. WHO WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM Adults aged 18+ who are currently in Shanghai, enjoy meeting people and feel comfortable appearing on camera. Individuals, couples and friends are welcome to express interest. We welcome different backgrounds and personalities. PHOTO & VIDEO USE The shoot is for Beyond Arrival’s promotional content, including our website and social media. We will explain the proposed use and agree image/appearance consent with participants before filming. INTERESTED? Please email info@beyondarrivalshanghai.com with the subject “Shanghai Brand Film – Participant”. Include a short introduction, your availability, languages spoken and whether you’d like to join alone or with someone. You may also include a recent photo or short introduction video if you’re comfortable doing so. We’ll contact suitable participants to discuss the details. Sending an inquiry does not commit you to taking part. Beyond Arrival Don’t just visit a city. Feel part of it. https://beyondarrivalshanghai.com
