Guys, I've been offered to rellocate to sister company in Shanghai from home company in Paris with following package: - paid furnished accomodation - paid international school for my children - paid health insurance - 15% hardship premium from gross salary - 10% cola (cost of living allowance) from gross salary - roughly CNY 5K (equivalent to 500 euro) per month for transportation allowance - rellocation allowance worth a month salary - 1x p.a home leave - tax equalization is this a fair offer? is it more on the minimum side of expat package or middle? thanks.

It does sound a very fair deal. Obviously, your Chinese employers costs will increase significantly too as they will also need to make contributions. You might be able to renegotiate a better package based on the social security contributions you will have to make here. Alternatively, you might want to just accept their package as they might decrease some of the benefits in light of the increased cost of employing you!! Good luck!
